Camping Success

I am very happy to report that our first trip in our new second hand RV was a huge success. Well that is except for Skye staying up until midnight the first night but we all survived with only a few tears and meltdowns the next day.

We stayed close to town and went to Devon which was a great first trip for us. It allowed us to feel like we were camping with also the knowledge of knowing we could make a quick trip home if we needed to.

Brad and I always laugh and say we are jinxed when it comes to flying kites. We really never have success and today was no exception.

(At least Skye didn't realize how inept we were )


If you ask Skye what her favourite part of the whole camping trip was she would tell you the park.

Grandma and Grandpa were in town for one night so they came out for dinner. It was so much fun to have them there to share in our first ever meal in the trailer.

The rocks around the campsite kept Skye occupied for hours. Rocks in a bucket, rocks in her chair, rocks on the picnic table was all hilariously funny to her.

We have already planned 4 other trips this summer and that only takes us to the end of July. Who knows how many more August will bring us.
