Calgary Bound

We made our first trip to Calgary as a family since River was born. We were a little nervous about the journey but River slept the entire time in the car and thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Bateman Skye watched her DVD player. Brad commented that he thinks this was the first time that we were actually able to talk since Skye was born.

This picture makes me laugh as Brad is the one hugging "Benny the Teddy Bear" and not River.

Grandpa and Skye playing with her favourite musical instrument. Skye loves it when Grandpa puts up the front of the piano so she can see the keys move. However, Grandpa gets in trouble by Grandma for doing this.

Uncle Andrew

Uncle Andrew had a conference in Banff so we were lucky enough to be able to see him. We don't often get to see him as he lives in Toronto so we were very lucky his company decided to have a conference in Alberta

Of course Uncle Andrew spoiled the kids. One of the presents was a coloring set. I think Skye may have had more marker on her face then in the book but hey that's why being a kid is so much fun.

We were lucky to have some time to visit with my good friend Astrid while we were in Calgary. Both Skye and River loved her as you can see.
