At home with Grandma

Grandma was with us for the first 12 days and I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful it was to have her here. Grandma sure does know so much about how to take care of babies as well as Brad and I. Grandma even took charge of Skye a few times in the late evening so I could catch some much needed sleep.

The beautiful blanket that is on Skye is my baby quilt from when I was born and taken home from the hospital. Grandma had kept it all these years and with the help of some friends from home they remade it so Skye could have it. What a wonderful and thoughtful gift.
